Wow!!!! you've been busy in my absence! :))...will write you a letter tonight: chaos with visit (best kind)...Anyway: this photo: deeply, richly beautiful!! I love the green--that is: all the variation of green: as formal theme...and emotional: the green of the midtones and especially the woods...and the finger-thread which appears upon the jar-stool. As for the lyric behind the photo: da, da. Calls to attention: the poetry of James Dickey!!! :))) (or even his novel "Deliverance")...its a tranquil and melancholic image...and Im hoping this is your Dacha :)))...what do you need a color book for Larry?...seems to me, you understand color quite Well!!! ochin, ochin! :))
Bob: I▓m usually safe when nature is picking the colors. But the studio seems a raging sea. I thrash about frothing a gray rainbow. But from your work I see you can swim with Matisse. :-) Hey, what happened to your post? You should get more feedback than my stupid remarks.
(1) The picture is beautiful, but there's no comparision to the "Deliverance" (one of my favorite american books)which is about as terrifying, stomach-churning, and mind-shattering as this picture is quiet and melancholic...
4: Konstantina! :))...Deliverance--yes, absolutely terrifying, stomach-churning, etc--but you must remember that Dickey was a poet--an inside the life of his poems (as well as Deliverance, is this fact: that inside the life (and bodies ;) ) of buccolic south, lies terror...that is: with Deliverance: within the rhythms of his beautiful prose...and the beautiful Georgia woods and rivers, instead of peace and melancholy, the men found terror--which is why Larry's beautiful picture reminded me of this: duality of both--interplayed :))...I am so happy you like the book: you should finger his poems: simply astonishing. Thanks Konstantin! :))))
4: Konstantin: sorry for the "a" at end of your name (typing error ;) )--i was just so thrilled to see someone actually read the book here...and i was caught by joy (and my poor typing skills--sorry :))) (you can call be Bob(a) ;)
