Antelope Canyon was formed by millions of years of erosion acting upon the local Navajo Sandstone. It is one of the most beautiful and photographed sites in the Southwest United States. The colors are a product of hematite, goethite, and limonite working their ways into the pores of the quarts crystal comprising most of the sand stone. If you wants to convert people to a belief in a higher power, you`d push science education. I`m not sure that I believe that, but it definitely inspires more awe from me than any cathedral could.
