true larry, but....most of our lives we confront things, we'd rather not see, ever. problem is that within the very specific, and obnoxiously pretentious arena of art, these become issues. Its the tricky thing, but constraint is an inherently subjective response, especially in an area as abstract as "internet photo house"...keep in mind your own brillantly "obscene" photos ;)))). I wish something simple: at least as images are concerned: let all stand: the week stuff will collapse, especially over time. Your dead animals are Peta's nightmare, etc ;)))...each problem entails all gordian knot. I know a photographer here whose images are used on internet porn sites, but I keep my opinions silent, because to me, his exploitation will reveal itself...truth is art is simply the tiny think...as an american, i believe in one invaluable principle: freedom leads to exposure and to destruction, but at least its more honest ;))))...

73/71: Саша, хороший, я понимаю. И здесь я согласен с Верой: определять кое-что как порнографическое - скользкая работа. Мое собственное скромное мнение, - то, что мы не должны бояться никакой фотографии, "артистической", "порнографической" и т.д. Мое личное мнение - то, что я рассматриваю "порнографию" слова как эстетическая классификация, не моральной или этической классификацией. Правдиво, я праздную порнографию, и даже непристойное поведение (непристойные действия, непристойные слова) как просто другая часть нашего человеческого выражения. Проблема состоит в том, что обсуждение этики, или рассмотрения вопроса этики в пределах структуры академии фотографии является почти невозможными дебатами. Если бы я был в художественном комитете, я позволил бы все, наступление или не, и позволять фотографиям жить или умирать их собственной целостностью(честностью), или ничего не стоящий. Однако, я понимаю, что владельцы ФОТОЛИНИИ рискуют алот, позволяя фотографиям, решил быть порнографическим или наступательным(оскорбительным). С тех пор, и философски и мастерски, я не нахожу абсолютно никакой качественным (качественным в смысле эстетического богатства) между высоким художественным и низким неискусством, я предложил бы это. Все мы имеем эстетические и моральные спектры. Я почти всегда слушал бы Моцарт, тогда смотрят " Дебби, делает Даллас ", но даже что дискретное различие становится перемещенным(измененным);)). Это - теперь наша роль, как люди, или как художники, делать моральные суждения по другим, но только с нами непосредственно. Я полагаю, что со временем хорошее искусство (безотносительно ада, который означает) повысится. Как мы определяем хорошее искусство? ... я не могу определять;), Ни ко я желаю искать определение. Я буду говорить это. Как люди, как художники, мы должны задать вопросы и не обеспечивать(предусматривать), отвечает. Время - реальный цензор жизни, мы не должны волноваться. Снова, ко мне это весь мелко. Покажите всем работам, и затем позвольте времени делать суждения;))) если верите в суждения

Простой вопрос. Кто может говорить о значении искусства? Кто может говорить о значении жизни, ответ жизни, книга, в которой написан правда жизни? Почему мы делаем фотографии, картины, романы, музыка? Мы, ложно (потому что это защищает нас от нашего невежества) полагаем, что мы понимаем значение позади создания, позади "убеждения" создать. По правде говоря, мы не делаем. Ко мне, искренне, все обсуждения чего составляют искусство, что составляет " более красивый " является простой тенью, полыми взрослыми игры, игрой(пьесой) художников. Я никогда не могу давать ответ относительно того, что является искусством, почему мы создаем искусство, что определяет "качество". Начинаясь с Сократес, этот вопрос (и поскольку это обращается к искусству и жизни) уклонились от нас, но тем не менее мы путешествуем, чтобы обнаружить. Искренне, искусство, является просто человеком, игра ребенка, мы нанимаем в, из-за жизни дистиллированную внутреннюю часть нас: Чтобы обладать (как, Достоевский однажды написал) .Хуман, существа мокрые, несовершенны, лицемерны, отважны, смелы, красивы, уродливые, беспорядок. Наши жизни, сжатые нами непосредственно: наше человеческое условие(состояние). Данным это, обсуждение искусства инфинтесмалли маленькое. Работа Сашы смела и безумно красива, потому что глубокие сведения(интеллект) очевидны: барьер - собственные изобретения, не изобретения жизни, или даже Бог (для сторонников). Как люди, мы начали в мшистом, влажном, болото болота крови, спермы, яйца и пота. Мы прибываем в этот мир через славу кожи, волос, крови, мембраны, каналов рождения, простираясь через кровь и детриус наших тел матерей, простираясь в мир дыхания и жизни. Когда мы начали праздновать это та же самая кровь, так называемое "уродство" с которого все наши жизни начались, возможно тот день мы закончим эту ерунду. Празднуйте жизнь, трахните искусство, (я говорю, что это как художник), искусство должно быть трахнуто цельностью (уродливый и красивый, чистый и грязный, светский и глубокий) жизни. Простите мой грубый язык...

Regardless of my own beliefs (raised in christain home with jewish also), i will not discuss religion, but, if there is ever a time to celebrate the human body, both its beauty and its ugliness, the human condition, both the beauty and savory, pernicious, unseemly side, now :)...100% behind Sasha! :))

O! This IS NOT a nasty photograph. In fact, I believe it is Sasha's bravest photograph. It absolutely upsets all the absurd, absurd "pretty" photographs of nude women. It specifically speaks directly to the relationship between photographer and model, between photographer and viewer. It speaks about exploitation, about human sexuality, fantasy (male), about the hypocrisy of all these pretty photographs. At some point also, for me, it is a critique of Sasha's own masterful photography. A self-critique. Can sexuality be photographed? Can only flat, inorganic ideas be the result of photography, which is the opposite of the life, of sexual life, of the life we all live? Yes, it is clearly a graphic photograph: model's face and expression, extension of her legs, sucking on her toe. It is a challenging, difficult photograph: the photograph for both the pervert and for the artist. Then again, to me, frankly, i think most of us deny our deeper, darker selves. Extraordinary, explosive, beautiful, dirty, clean, sexual, chaste, fantasy, dream, lie, distortion, clarity photograph. What upsets people about this photograph, is what upsets us about life: people and our lives are sloppy, imperfect, dirty, hungry, tragic, lost, exploitive, hopeful: human. Bravo Sasha! 5

32: lENA : By Sasha posting is new photograph, especially during lent, might be considered "sacriledge"--but he is beautifully, hungrily, urgently being honest. I love this new photograph, because it is brave: it is both sexual and also the direct reaction to all this childish, "sensitive" "tasteful" classy images of women. It is a hugely powerful, aggressive, suggestive, almost disturbing photograph. Sex, and life, is a dance of blood, a union of human beings aggressively building and uniting their bodies with other bodies: what arises from this demolition, this assault, this dark physical agression, is something else: the light of life, children, love, soul. But maybe not, either. Life is destructive, from destruction comes eternal continuance, and this circle of life. Sasha's new photo is so extraordinarily beautiful and truthful: using the absolute aggression and longing of fantasy, of finally revealing what most people, or men, think of when looking at all these pretty photographs. To me, Shahabolov's new photograph is as powerful, distrubing, truthful, exploitive, honest, as anything by Cameron, or Saudak. If people are offended by it because of their religious beliefs, the they have the right to turn away. It does boil to a reduction-reclassification of values...well, im boring myself terribly ;))...Shahabaolov keep following your mad, beautiful, dark vision!!!! :)

OI!!!!!!!!...do not, do not, do not define the limits of your photography site by arbitrary, artificial, social ideas. 1) This photograph is NOT pornography, NOR is it obscene!!! Pornography is the, paraphrasing Nabokov, a work of creative representation which seeks to titilate the sexual drive rather then the intellectual drive. Moreover, pornography is inherently exploitive: the choice of sexual content, sexual suggestion, sexual depiction, sexual graphic representation has no inherent relationship to pornography. Showing a woman, or man's, genitalia is NOT the definition of obscene: rather the human. Shahalabov exploits, beautifully, dangerously, uncomfortably, the thin line between so called "art" and so called "pornography." What I LOVE about shahabolov's work is that he IS NOT the hypocrit. His nudes often deal very specifically with male fantasy, with the very real and dark relationship between physical/sexual desire and our social conditions: the relationship between young looking women and the relationship to the viewer: mostly male. In this sense, when Shahabolov photographs pizda, to me, he is being MORE honest that 90% of the photographers who show pretty woman in "artistic" poses: blin. Human body is dark, dangerous, glorious, sloppy. We fuck, we breathe, we hunger, we hope, we love, we lose, we die. IN shahalabolov directly confronts the hypocrisy of many of us. When a viewer is excited by an image, how does one separate the definitions: we can excited by an emotionally or "intellectually" stimulating thing, or whether we're excited sexually? The differentiation between these experiences, to me, is pompous dishonesty. Frankly, the problem comes from this superficial and idiotic notion of art, of "A"rt--capital A. Shahabolov's photos, to me, are not great because theyre technically beautiful: they are great because of the challenge his pictures create!--the ambiguous feelings we have when we are challenged by this. Keep in mind, Sasha also produces the magnificent abstractions too. I will be honest: i am the fan of pornography, only in the sense that my own creative, emotional, sexual, human life is filled with, i hope, the simple sense that life lived is the only arc. At some point, a photograph, when done with the consent of author and models, simply should be gazed at, and if it offends peoples ideas of morality or taste, then they simply should hood their eyes. Our lives are written upon our bodies, and the more we clothe them, the more we clothe ourselves. I see no, absolutely no, fundamental difference between this photograph, of legs, vulva, stomach, then a photograph of a stranger's face on the street, who does not know theyre being photographed. The longer we veil what is essential, the darker our caves become. I support Sasha 100%, and also all the work much more tacky, tricky, sloppy, even tasteless. Life is larger then these absurd, pimple-minded categorizations. Obscenity is not a categorical belief system, but a subjective reaction. We should support not only Shahabolov's work, but also the work of much less talented photographers. Exposure to difficult, unsettling things is the only way we touch the difficulty of our very small, brief lives....forgive my long-winded speach ;))))))

!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))) Michael: extraordinarily beautiful moment...i love the choice of mustard sepia color, and to show her dancing/exploring, rather then her face, but above all is this brillantly strange sensation: as if a whirl is pulling us in visually to her, almost trippy, like a circular spin, almost undetectable, a spin around her visually, toward her--or maybe my eyes are tired, but its quite trippy: we're pulled in, directly toward her, like gravity...beautiful little girl, beautiful understanding that our lives begin in story telling, picking mud from our hands and feet: ochen, ochen krasivaya!! :)..now, post some photos of your visitor ;))))))

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)))) ah, ah, ah, now, I understand the photo in Kiski ;)))))...Vadim, preparing for the new career as the Super-Model! :))...but better paying, Im certain, then artist of engineer, da? :))...I like photo very much, love of course Vadim's expression, and it is critical that Masha's hand is upon Vadim's face. The use of Masha's Korman's hand would not, could not produce the same degree of genuine intimacy (unless he knows something we do not ;)) )...as to whose photo? Pressing the camera button is meaningless. If the idea of the photo was Masha's, if the arrangement of the photo, pose of hands, choice of models, concept of composition, choice of film, setting of aperature and f-stops, was Mamashka's, then its Masha's. Creation of photo is more then pushing of button. Many photographers use themselves as models (me too ;)) ), and set up all the work (lights, film, camera settings, etc) and simply say: action, and an assistant presses the bottom: the assistant isnt the photographer. Although it helps if assistant (in this case Masha Korman) is also the photographer! Lovely, tender photograph.
